Can't complain 28th overall in the Spring Classics. Not bad considering I forgot a race completely.
Considering i only had 4 riders in the running, i guess 116p i okay.
Damn, that was pretty nice!
By the state of my placement overall, i still have a lot to learn apparently. Hehe.
Ooh, joint third!
My best result of the season so far, and also it feels like my first actually decent score.
I had 2,3,4,5,6,7,19. If I'd have gone with my gut instead of the betting & form, I'd have had 9th as well. Gasparotto my only non-scorer.
2,3,4,7,14,19 for me.
Five of this years top six places were in last years top seven.
Nice stat!... ... It just might be all the Ardennes Classics will follow this trend...

I have 2 and 7, but I messed up, made my transfers, THEN updated the startlist, what a numpty...
No, not at all! You have just broken the Road.cc record for fastest scoring of a race ! Wow! What a man!
What a nice addition to the race calendar! Thanks!
well I never knew that if you edit a post, it alters the time and position in the list.
There you go, most of us got 2,3,4 and 7. And if you had Haas too then it has been a good day.
How close was that?..
Well, Gilbert gets his points plus 5 more...
I wonder how many people had Hermans?...

preliminary result
1. Ben Hermans
2. Michael Matthews
3. Philippe Gilbert
4. Tony Gallopin
5. Davide Rebellin
6. Nathan Haas
7. Fabio Felline
8. Maurits Lammertink
9. Maciej Paterski
10. Dries Devenyns
2,3,4,6,7
that'll be around standard as everyone will have 2,3,4,7 minimum. Haas could bump me up a couple of places, sort of wish I'd made that extra transfer which would have been (9)
Roman Hardy was never in the break. It was Delaplace, Krisch and De Gendt, and they will be getting the bonus points
I had this gnawing feeling this morning I should have put Steven Cummings on my team... but he isn't on the start list... Maybe that's a good omen for one of the other MTN - Qhubeka riders, like Sbaragli or Reguigui...
Its taken 70km but a break might have finally gone. De Gent, Romain Hardy and Alex Kirsch have 2".
Matthews
Gerrans
Gilbert
Gallopin
Felline
Gasparotto
Devolder
De Marchi
Also lost most of them since last night. Go Matthews, Gilbert, Gallopin, Felline!!!
Looks like most of the others will be in Amstel Gold. Lucky me.
Doh, totally missed this race!
I have 1 rider racing! Go Calvin Watson!
am loving the auto translate coverage here

essentially the same 4 here too although I'm going Nathan Haas for my dark horse. Tricky finding the balance for number of transfers, could easily have made 1 or 2 more for today but felt holding it back for ardennes week would be a better option. 15 left. Thanks to that pile up the 7 I used on Schelderprijs I'm now kicking myself for.
Hivert or chavanel to win is the best bet for me
Phil Gil
Gallopin
Felline
Matthews
Bakelants
Navardauskas
Gerdemann
Leukemans
Bakelants has never shown any ability in the Ardennes but is coming in with form, and if I'm picking Felline and Navardausakas for the same reason I may as well go for it.
If Hivert and Sbaragli score I will be kicking myself though
Looking like we are all putting our faith in the same 4 riders
MICHAEL MATTHEWS (OGE)
PHILIPPE GILBERT (BMC)
TONY GALLOPIN (LTS)
FABIO FELLINE (TFR)
FRANCESCO GAVAZZI (SOU)
JULIAN ALAPHILIPPE (EQS)
RASMUS GULDHAMMER (CLT)
SONNY COLBRELLI (BAR)
Gilbert
Matthews
Felline
Gallopin
Devolder
Meersman
Devenyns
Sbaragli
With 18 transfers for the last 3 races
Way more than needed. Reckon I will be absolutely fine with my 9.
