They have been doing this for a number of years every so often, but since the latest commission report came out, there are making it very known that they are doing it at various races.
The reports will die out when the flames from that commission report die down.
If it creates a fairer field, then why not.
It may seem silly but go back a few years and checking for riders infusing themselves with their own (or others) old blood in hotel rooms with shady doctors would sound just as stupid.....or after that was discovered checking riders for synthetic dog blood ( not approved for human use...obv) would sound even more stupid.
