Looking for evidence

Hi guys, I’m looking for two different sorts of information.

First is locations where cycling and walking successfully share space, particularly where a local council has trialled allowing bikes through a pedestrian area and then made it permanent. Like this one, except it’s still in trial stage: /content/news/145021-cyclists-be-allowed-croydons-pedestrianised-main-shopping-street

The second is evidence for the claim that cycling brings money. Are there any case studies which have examined the effect of bringing cycling into an area?

Cycling is banned in my local town centre but I happen to have the ear of a local councillor and I think some evidence would help her shift perceptions in the council.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

road.cc if you happen to read this please would you add any you know about from previous articles.

    Thanks
