I am doing the Tour of a Flanders sportive next month and cannot decide which bike to use. It is either a Genesis Croix de Fer with an 11-32, with 28 mm Hutchinson Sector 28’s on Stans Grail rims or a Trek Domane 4.3 with a 12-30 and 28mm GP4S’s on H Plus & sons Archetype rims. Unfortunately the Hutchinsons are too wide for the Domane
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I regularly bob out and do the route on a Cinelli Saetta with Zondas and an 11-25… With 23s… This is also without feed stations. Really wouldn’t stress about it so much. Take the Domane as it’s probably lighter, non?

Last year I ran 50/34 with a 11-25 cassette on Spesh Roubaix 23/25 tyres. This year it will be 50/36 and 12-27 on either 24mm Pave’s or 25mm combination. Oh and Ridley Fenix frame.
