Given the Planet X Pro Stealth is a TT bike does this bike sale look dodgy to anyone?

Got them about a month the ago in store, on the website they were down at £11.99, when I got to the till I was ready for a price match when the sales assistant said they were coming up at a fiver! PlanetX are selling them at £6.99 at the mo if you can’t get any in Halfords.

I have the cinelli glow in the dark cork tape (maily because Halfords were selling it for a fiver, but also because my inner child thinks its cool) not to everyones taste, but at the end of the day its only tape and can be replaced cheaply enough.

The bike in the photo looks
The bike in the photo looks exactly like the my Planet X Pro Carbon Road bike but in clear laquer/black rather than blue.

Can’t comment on how dodgy it is, but the carbon pro can be had brand new from planetX for £999 at the moment with Ultegra kit on them http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FBPXSLPULT6800/planet-x-pro-carbon-shimano-ultegra-6800-road-bike, you can pick up the 105 version for £799 new.

Personally I wouldn’t buy this bike, not only because I already have one, but because I bought a brand new one for not much more than the auction is currently at (£480 if you include P&P) mine cost £665 BTW, not the £1400 the seller is quoting, but then that was in a sale and I’ve got SRAM rival instead of 105. Nice bike though, enjoying it immensly, even in the current weather 😀
