They don’t undo themselves do they? Yes they do! Always, but always push over the locking pin once tightened onto the skewer (Cycleops). Of course I didn’t.

40 mins in when clunk, drop, fall sideways turbo ‘n all, and all too quick to get out of the cleats.
Wheel wrecked but hopefully frame ok – will know soon.

Fortunately not on the drive side and not into the telly.
