Can recommend cycle Gran Canaria. Ray is a great guy!!
i have been twice and to be honest, it isn't that bad to explore. just follow the roads into the interior.
I would suggest Maspalomas as a place to stay, roads in the resort aren't in brilliant condition but once you pass the main road things get far smoother.
Just be aware big hills and wind along the coast.
I've not been on the trip yet (booked for March 2015!) so can't tell you what its like, but after doing much research but I am going with these guys,..http://www.cyclegrancanaria.com/road-biking-holidays/
