    Anyone know anything about these?

Looking for the magical combination of lowish weight, reasonable aero and affordable, found these and they look good on paper.

These seem to fit the bill, 1450g, less than £500 and 30mm profile.

All I can find is a lukewarm Cycling plus review and not much else.

    Experiences, thoughts?

Fulcrum racing 3s seem the obvious alternative- not keen?.

    How about:

FIR R7s (if you can find them)

    CERO AR30

    American classic sprint 350 ?

Well the deal is just until the end of the year (discount code is swisssidepromo if you give it a shot) but unfortunately I probably won’t be able to report back until the weather improves now. Although you never know, I might be able get a quick spin if it’s not too bad out!

For what it’s worth I spent ages looking and researching, and the only other reasonably priced alloy clincher with reasonable weight, lots of stiffness, a slightly deep rim and good reviews that I could find is the Flo 30. That’s from the U.S. though, so you have to add postage and import duties, which are a bit vague.

Thanks for that, the Francs look nice and a great deal with the 20% off. I’ll be interested in how you get on with them.

I liked the look of these, but a wheel builder who posts on here pointed out the spoke count and lacing technique would not make for strong wheels. I’ve instead just paid £276 for a pair of swissside franc evo 3 alloy clinchers. Good reviews even compared against £600 wheels, and still a little bit different. This was in the Christmas sale.
