ITT problem

Lots of the riders are from the team WC which means we can only pick 2 of them. With this budget we need about 6!

Maybe the extra 5% were enrique's extra teams?

Right I'm off to sharm, don't know if I'll get to pick my road team 2

Tony Martin (OPQ)
Bradley Wiggins (SKY)
Rasmus Christian Quaade (WC)
Rohan Dennis (BMC)
Jan Barta (TNE)
Elchin Asadov (WC)
Segundo Navarrete (WC)
Reidar Borgersen (WC)
Lars Teutenberg (WC)

No purist for me

My teams today.

Standard
Tony Martin (OPQ)
Bradley Wiggins (SKY)
Tom Dumoulin (GSH)
Gustavo Mino (WC)
Lars Teutenberg (WC)
Anton Vorobyev (KAT)
Jerome Coppel (COF)
Alexander Gingsjo (WC)
Rasmus Christian Quaade (WC)

Purist
Tony Martin (OPQ)
Gustavo Mino (WC)
Alexander Gingsjo (WC)
Rasmus Christian Quaade (WC)
Rohan Dennis (BMC)
Reidar Borgersen (WC)
Tom Dumoulin (GSH)
Adriano Malori (MOV)
Lars Teutenberg (WC)

Teutenberg because he is old and German, Mino because he's as fast as me, Gingsjo as he won the Swedish ITT, Borgersen Norway ITT, Quaade because he has two As in his name and did well last year, Vorobyev because he is cheap and talented. And the favourites.

It's on the BBC via the red button, but not on the BBC website/iplayer.

I cant get the live feed on the UCI Youtube Channel to work as it says it's not been made available in my country. It's not on Eurosport either. So I;m left watching a link from Cyclingfans.com in French. Why no live coverage in the UK? 102

Lantern Rouge ? - got to be Lars Teutenberg at 44yrs old. Mind you it would be great if he did pull out a good time.

I've gone without Martin and Wiggins in my standard but put Wiggins in my purist just to be patriotic 4

Tom Dumoulin
Rohan Dennis
Adriano Malori
Jesse Sergent
Rasmus Christian Quaade
Gabor Fejes
Alexsandr Dyachenko
Lars Teutenberg
Riccardo Zoidl

Rohan Dennis
Adriano Malori
Bradley Wiggins
Silvan Dillier
Rasmus Christian Quaade
Jesse Sergent
Lars Teutenberg
Reidar Borgersen
Alexsandr Dyachenko

Now to sit down and work out my road race team 39

Here's my team - IMO Top 3 will be Martin, Wiggins, Dumoulin, then I have quaade and navardauskas as top10's. I think this will score better than Gkams 3456 scenario.

Mino was 2nd last, last year at 2 seconds so hopefully he'll stay true to that form!

Tony Martin (OPQ)
Tom Dumoulin (GSH)
Bradley Wiggins (SKY)
Lars Teutenberg (WC)
Gustavo Mino (WC)
Reidar Borgersen (WC)
Veli Sadiki (WC)
Rasmus Christian Quaade (WC)
Ramunas Navardauskas (GRS)

Getting the 1-2 and having to fill the rest of the team with no hopers plus a cheap German and/or Brit = 95 (if Martin or Wiggo come first)

Getting 3,4,5,6 and affording a couple with reasonable chances of getting in top 20 = 93 at least....

Man, I just can't see you winning without Wiggins or Martin... I'm all for the excitement and surprise of either or neither being 1-2, but I just don't see it happening... If you win, I'll shut up for24 hours, or I'll dance naked for you... Or I'll get you a Youtube video of your favorite song... 39

Most teams are going to be very similar with the winning team scoring with a low pointer such as Quaade and the lantern rouge.

I didn't have Martin or Wiggins in either of my teams, they are to expensive to justify. I'd rather afford places 3,4,5,6,7 than 1,2 and some lower fillers...

It was Dennis that stayed in my team.

Assuming a Martin-Wiggins 1-2 scenario, or vice versa, the only way you could win is if you have one or the other or both in your team... You can hope there's a major upset and one of those doesn't get 1 or 2, though, but it doesn't look like you can have 3,4,5,6,7 without some major upsets... I'm intigued though... It really might come down to who has the Last Man In... Or if any of the sub 5.0 riders score... 39

Darn, I was feeling very proud that a Romanian is worth more than 20 credits in the game, and now I see you have him down, wrongly, as representing Moldova...

Feel the pride again. I have adjusted him. He raced for Moldova until this year, hence he had been added back when he was needed as Moldavian

Bradley Wiggins is suddenly worth more than 35 points in a Road.cc competition. Rare these days.

There's a lot of names in the fantasy list not on the official start list. Check your 3.0 "packing peanut" riders for eligibility. Currently there are only 64 riders on the official list against 77 starters last year. I suppose there could be late additions...

Does the last man home get 10 points in the ITT at WC? Its not in the scoring info, but I presume he does, isn't it? I'm only asking because, with this budget, the lanterne rouge will probably clinch the stage win for someone (actually, for a few someones)
