    Hi all,

If you haven’t seen it, the documentary on the (in)famous Hinault/LeMond rivalry is on ITV4 right now… possibly on the online player later, or possibly not.

Actually, any possibility of a TV cycling round-up preview on the site in the future?

My current favourite is the ‘Armstrong Lie’. It’s well presented, but amusing because everytime Armstrong opens his mouth you know he is lying. I bought the audio version of Juliet Macur’s book, which is a beautiful hatchet job on Armstrong, she really cuts through the lies, that has a lot of detail which really explains the bullying lengths he went to. The part that covers Floyd Landis’s career outside of Postal is both hilarious and sad.

[quote=BeatPoet]Paris-Roubaix 1976 – “A Sunday in hell” is an all time classic if you haven’t seen it.
Starring Merckx at the end of his career and a super smooth looking Roger De Vlaeminck. Proper old school. The riders have to contend with a strike holding up the race at one point!

I caught the second half. It was giving me lots of bike and kit envy. Those jerseys looked sweaty as hell – but great all the same.
