I have a 10 speed Campag Veloce chainset (and groupset). If I upgrade the chainset to something like Chorus 11 speed will it still be compatible with the remaining Veloce 10 components? It looks like it should be fine to me, but just checking.

The theory goes that 10 speed
The theory goes that 10 speed rings can be slightly wider and therefore push the 11 speed chain open. I have worked as a bicycle mechanic for over ten years and have seen this happen only once with a 9 speed chain on 8 speed rings. I wouldn’t worry about it in the slightest but the Chorus chainset is lovely and you could always purchase one at a later date.
