New Boots and Panties....err kinda

Looking for a recommendation for some new shorts. Really not into bibs but if anyone has advice let's hear it. Previous shorts were Gore Bike Wear - excellent pad and thickness so I'm very tempted to go for similar. Need to have a good pad and NOT be see-through (much as I would like to excite the ageing population of Devon...) oh, and be reasonably priced. Any thoughts?
