Wen't out, got wetter than an Otters pocket, bike and I covered in crap.........Loved it
Rain or shine = ride
We're cyclists not car drivers. It rains, we get wet; the sun shines, we don't. Either way we propel ourselves through the world at a speed that enables us to enjoy it.
After all when we smile at a pretty girl she smiles back because she sees us, not a metal box. There is great beauty in the world if only you take the time. Even when it rains you smell a world washed clean and watch colours come to life.
Sod the rollers; get out there!
F**k that. I hate getting soaked.
No you don't. You get looked at as if your mental, everything looks grey and cold and the only other colour you can see is that of the shit that's spraying all over you and your bike.
Trust me, I commute to work by bike regardless of the weather.... because I love it.
Signed up to do the 120 mile version of the Somerset Hills GF in early May so wanted to get about 80 Exmoor miles in. Exmoor miles are like normal miles but never flat.
Think I'll get out early and try to warm up in front of the recorded Flanders so I can zip through the adds.
We've already binned our plans for a long ride but as the forecast here is better from around 16.00 we will at least get out for a few hours.
Both, get your gabba on and work up a sweat inside of it, on the rollers
