I’m now the proud owner of my first Dolan bike …. an Ares SL. I went for the normal red one – the new green paint job just ain’t for me.

Anyhow, the one thing that niggles me about the new steed is the fact that there is no transparent chainstay protector. I’ve done a wee bit of research on different alternatives, and I understand that some of the after-market offerings can turn yellow with age.

Does anybody have any recommendations on a really good chainstay protector?

Lizard Skins or BBB are your
Lizard Skins or BBB are your best bets for pre trimmed ones. Else you could just get a roll of helicopter tape
