Paris-Nice Stage 5

I might have messed up today. The climb near the end is not very steep, but it is long (12km) so I decided that the GC guys' teams will pile on the pressure and drop the sprinters.

However the latest odds have Degenkolb, Bouhanni etc as favourites, which would help my purists, but they're buggered anyway thanks to Meersman crashing on stage 2.

Hopefully the bookies are wrong! May as well reveal my team as there are no surprises...

Nibali
Betancur
Kelderman
Thomas
Sepulveda
Gallopin
Izagirre
Hinault
Rovny

Ok, you know (!) you have a tight budget when 4 of the 5 3.0 riders are 'Popular' picks! Don't think I'd seen that (!) Before! Well, I don't remember having seen that... 39

TERatcliffe, he said earlier in the race that he works evenings and that does would go up around or after 8pm for a couple of stages.

At the moment TER is running PN, I'm running TA, Dave is running the classics and GKam is setting up the women's world cup races.

I binned Chavanel and then read he's out for revenge after yesterday's stage and he's in the break! 14

So Bakelants is giving up on the chance of a good GC place. Odd.

Looks like the break is set, 3 people with brothers in the break, so be prepared for potential errors in IDs!

Apparently, its...

Sylvain Chavanel
Gorka Izagirre
Brice Feillu
Bakelants
Busche

Only 30 secs on last update, so not totally clear yet...
