Morning, big weekend of racing in Italy but not big scores from our proper purist teams, high scores of just 63 for Strade Bianche and 9 for Roma Maxima show how most teams are biased towards the cobbles.

It's a two week break now until Milan-San Remo on 23rd March so it'll be interesting to see how our rider fair during Paris-Nice / Tirreno-Adriatico and how many of us actually have riders out in force for MSR, especially with the route now confirmed and the added climb of Pompeiana removed it should sway the race back towards the Sagan's and Cancellara's rather than the race becoming a focus of the climbers like Nibali and Froome.
