Also picked up the Campag winter bib tights from planet x, for £30 - they're great! Never had grey tights before, though.

And Evans did me some Bontrager shoes, carbon sole, buckle closure etc, also for £30, a bit longer ago now. Deals in the middle of 2013 seemed pretty good.

I think there were better deals through the year than recently, such as

Fizik shoes at 75 percent discount at merlin
Mavic plasma helmets for 50 quid
The original rounds of campag clothing sell offs, in May the stuff was half the price it is now, it's still discounted, but it's getting rarer.

Though right now, groupset deals seem pretty good

I keep an eye out all year and stock pile, all I've bought recently are some tools, chains and gels.

I've spent a couple of hundred quid with Planet X on the last of the Campag winter jerseys (now stockpiled in a wardrobe).

I've also spent hours emailing and phoning them to find out where my stuff was or to get it sent to the address that I had input to the delivery screen.

The latest fun was when I got a pair of their echostorm winter tights - which are excellent value - except that my Large version had legs in large but everything from the shammy up in 2XL. Very bizarre.
