.., i am new here.. I think it would just be polite to introduce myself... janice here.. I love biking a lot as much as I love the nature... I used to ride a tandem bike with my dad.. one of the happiest moment in my life..![1](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/1.gif)
I spent some quality time with my commuter on Wednesday fettling with the brakes, chain and freewheel...
...feels beautiful* again!
*it probably actually feels bloody horrible but I like it. B)
I ride a hybrid too and from work but I have just picked up a brand new road bike, with clippy shoes and pedals (never used them before) Am equally excited (and a little nervous) to get on mine. Fresh air and an open road. B)
i had one of those 2 hour windows, in between all the other things to do, to get a ride in. despite the threat of freezing driving rain and darkness had a fantastic ride, 30 miles, 1 hour 50 mins, and not a spot of rain, just plenty of 'road juice'.
yep agree with you there riding bikes is ace!![4](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/4.gif)
presumably you had other bikes to get your riding fix on though? surely no-one can go a whole month without riding...![1](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/1.gif)
Cough.
Which reminds me, I'd better take it down the LBS for a post-crash once-over/cosmetic surgery.
Collection of mountain bikes and surfboards saw me right, especially during my first ever cross race last month (mtb, not quad fish).
