Cycology’s compression socks are nicely designed, wick moisture well and allow for decent ventilation, while the small degree of compression provides a good fit.
- Pros: Nice design, decent breathability and wicking
- Cons: Not cheap
These socks provide a decent amount of comfort thanks to their use of moisture-wicking fabrics that mean your feet don’t get overly sweaty, combined with flatlock stitching to stop irritation on your toes.
This ‘Train Hard, Get Lucky’ print isn’t available at the moment, but another couple of cool ones using the same fabric are – ‘Bike Obsession’ and ‘One Tribe’.
Despite being one-size-fits-all, the fit is good. With a decent level of compression they stay in place very well – I didn’t notice any bunching or the socks sliding down. Also because they hold up well they also slide nicely over the bottom of bib tights, which is a useful touch at this time of year.
> How to keep your feet warm while cycling in winter
Their RRP of £14 is a little steep compared to others on the market – Kalf’s Tall socks are £2 cheaper, though they don’t offer compression, while the Primal Unicorn socks are £8 – but given their strong design and decent performance it doesn’t seem excessively so.
Verdict
Well designed socks that stay up well and keep your feet comfortable

That design is pretty awful.
…and half of the ‘Train Hard, Get Lucky’ logo on the back will be covered as soon as you put shoes on?!
