The Endura Pro Jetstream III is a lightweight jersey in a slim cut that does a good job of keeping you warm on autumn, spring and milder winter days courtesy of windproof panels on the front and the arms.

The Pro Jetstream is mostly made from a Roubaix fabric, a fleecy polyester that's good at adding insulation while remaining very breathable.
The front panels, the tops of the arms and the collar – the most exposed areas when you're riding – are entirely different, though, made from a windproof fabric. This isn't the most breathable material ever, and it can be cold to the touch so you'd not want to wear it next to your skin (at least, I didn't like the feel when worn over a short sleeve base layer), but it does stop chilly air dead in its tracks. You don't need us to tell you how much difference windchill makes when you're heading fast downhill after working up a sweat on a climb, and this jersey minimises that.

Both fabrics are stretchy, the Roubaix more so than the windproof panels. The combination means the slim cut will still fit a large range of different builds. The fit on me was close and non-flappy without feeling over-tight (that's not me in the pictures). I found the neck about right too: not so large that it funnels air inside and not so tight that it's uncomfortable. If you're worried about sizing, check out the chart on Endura's website.
I'm just back from a medium intensity 10°C ride and I was perfectly happy wearing this over a long sleeve base layer. It would be good for a couple of degrees cooler at a higher pace. I tend to feel the cold more than most so chances are that you'd be comfortable in this with the temperature a little colder still.

All the details are neatly done. The full-length front zip is from YKK and it comes with a windproof flap behind it and a chin guard up top. If we're being picky – and we are – the zip pull could do with being larger. It's easy enough to grab in thin gloves but it takes some finding if you're wearing your big winter oven mitts.
The elasticated waist band comes with an excellent silicone gripper on the inside and you get three deep pockets in the lower back, the tops of the side ones slightly slanted for easier access. There's also a fourth zipped pocket back there for your valuables. It's just about big enough to take an iPhone 5 or similar. A small amount of reflective trim at the top of the pockets and the back of the neck helps with night-time visibility.

Verdict
Lightweight jersey in a slim cut that does a good job of keeping you warm on autumn, spring and milder winter days

Despite following the washing instructions, some of the red dye stained the white panels, but it did wash out again eventually. The other thing is that the inner surfaces of the windproof panels feel very plasticky [checks. Oh! That is an actual word] and cold on the skin, like the inside of most waterproof fabrics. That meant I didn't feel very comfortable when wearing this over a short sleeve base layer in milder conditions.

As with many jersey/jackets
As with many jersey/jackets these days,,,the zip puller is generally too small to handle with big wintery gloves on….for a small outlay…(yes, it’d be better for the manufacturer to have this outlay)…these are just the ticket….
