    I generally regard the usual

I generally regard the usual give-way rules at roundabouts as optional when Im on my bike, and assume drivers will ignore me.  I’d say I’m right to do so around 30% of the time.

Use of the Road Collision Reporting Guidelines should be mandatory in law, regulated by the Department of Culture Media and Sports.
Please write to your MP on that asking them to support any bills that may provide this. Clearly the IPSO code of practice is useless and doesn’t stop anti cycling hate speech in the mainstream media.

I hope the (unt was still grinning when his employer called him in to discuss the letter from the police

I expect he was, because there never was a letter from the police

    I ALWAYS report these. So
I ALWAYS report these. So fucking dangerous.

Worst one I had was a kid driving an Asda delivery van, who looked straight at me, grinned and pulled out into my path while I was on the roundabout with priority. I hope the (unt was still grinning when his employer called him in to discuss the letter from the police.

    Drivers straight-lining

Drivers straight-lining roundabouts from my left without so much as turning their head is becoming such a massive issue for me that I’ve pretty much started treating them as uncontrolled T-junctions and give way in both directions.

The number of times I’ll get to a roundabout, stop, look right, see it’s clear, and move off, only to have someone scream past from the left, brushing my front wheel, is ridiculous.

To be fair, even the driver
To be fair, even the driver seems to agree: “Her view is she didn’t see the cyclist and she is at fault.” I had to read that twice, I kept expecting it to read, “…so she isn’t at fault.”

    Credit to STV News reporting,

Credit to STV News reporting, which leaves no doubt about who was to blame, and the victim, rather than the BBC style “A Cyclist was injured in a collision with a van on a mini roundabout”
