Has anyone had a Garmin repaired, the battery doesn’t last more than about 3 hours and the USB port is unreliable. I’m looking for recommendations regarding a repair. Thanks

You could try to find a local
You could try to find a local repair charity. Edinburgh has a “Remakery” which aims to help people repair things including electronics. Not used them myself though.

A few years ago I tried mobile phone repair shops to get my dad’s Tom Tom GPS mended – but they looked at me as if I was mad. Odd, because I had the parts and just needed assembly.

    Might be worth emailing Gamin

Might be worth emailing Gamin support, they’ve replaced units for me in the past with reconditioned ones even outside of the warranty period.

It might be worth looking on
It might be worth looking on-line for any videos of how to repair it yourself (and get parts). I successfully replaced the USB port on mine, and I really am not a practical person.
