Neither cycling, or a surprise…
“A study of 3,191 patients involved in bicycle or scooter accidents in Oslo found that four in ten of all scooter injuries were related to drunk drivers, compared to just one in ten for cyclists.”
More interestingly, “Experts said the use of e-scooters was often more spontaneous than cycling because it was a “passive mode of transport” that required minimal physical exertion, and there was no need to change clothes or freshen up after a ride”.
