Mavic rebuild service

Thanks to a combination of a particularly nasty pothole and me not paying enough attention my trusty Mavic rim was cracked last week.  They don’t make the  model I have anymore, but their website says they do rebuilds for wheels up to 5 years from when last on sale.

Has anyone got recent experience of that service?  I am aware that Mavic have had a lot of issues recently and am unsure how well they are set up now.
