Made it to top 3 on BBC…

This incident that has been covered on this site has now made it to the BBC:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-wiltshire-58558802

However, there is no mention of brake-checking or the driver causing the confrontation in the first instance, simply that the ‘cyclists caught up with him’, giving the impression that the cyclists were the aggressors in this case, heavily outnumbering the poor victim drivist, who clearly has to punch and mow down his way out in self-defence…

In the DM too – and to be

In the DM too – and to be fair to them (can’t believe I wrote that), they’ve embedded the whole youtube clip, no editing like the BBC…

    Maybe someone really got

Maybe someone really got triggered by the trandem and has never recovered?

Which is exactly why the BBC

Which is exactly why the BBC edited it the way they did.

They must be getting some extra funding from the motor lobby as there’s no way that their continual anti-cycling bias is accidental.

    I know it’s gone mainstream

I know it’s gone mainstream because the missus mentioned it this morning.

And proof positive that the edit they made to the video has changed perception because her response (other than “HTAF did he not go to jail for that?”) was “why did the cyclist engage with the nutter”. When I told her about the brake check and showed her the unedited footage she changed her opinion and now wants to go and hunt him down herself.

    The BBC are just

The BBC are just institutionally anti-cyclist.

I raised a complaint (with the BBC), but I’ve not been satisfied with the replies to any of the other complaints that I’ve raised.
