    That is a rare luxury, especially as it looks to be a real specialists course. I am down to one only, having been lured into using an extra transfer to get Matthews in yesterday. Hoping he has packed his skin suit and gives it a go today!

    Your timings looked spot on

    Your timings looked fine according to official website, but for some reason they went of early. I know they are trying to avoid finish clashing with TdF finish but that wasn’t an issue today.

    Maybe need to look at the

    Maybe need to just double check the start times for this race – they have been racing for nearly an hour now & the window is only just shutting! (The times on their website suggest that the window was correct but clearly those Italians are in a hurry to get going!) No skullduggery from me but less scrupulous competitors could take advantage! Anyone with Nathan Haas in their team should be called in by doping control…..

    Apologies, I do come across

    Apologies, I do come across as a bit furtive on re-reading that post! It’s  Lotto Soudal rider Florian Vermeersch. He doesn’t seem to be on the data base at all, but came fourth in the Brussels Classic. There is Gianni Vermeersch on the long list of riders but he rides for Alpecin and isn’t riding Tirreno. I fully agree with being open about omissions, but equally, part of the fun of the game is finding that bargain bucket rider who may just score you the odd point!

    Not sure who you mean. There’s been a couple of alterations to the start list today…Cavendish and Hodeg not starting….

    Do you think we should agree to be open about anything we think may be incorrect?… I’m sure Andy would be glad of it.
