Plans for UK-wide drive-in gigs announcedOh good. The illustration in the BBC news story takes us into car ad fantasy land: all carefree and fun.
I guess I’m tilting at windmills to a degree because all that’s described here leaves me stone cold.
Poor Fido – “you like Tony Hadley, don’t you boy, don’t you?” can’t come in, but he does have the option of being terrified by the pyrotechnics at home.If they’re checking tickets through closed windows, not sure how they are going to control food and drink, and anything else people habitually bring to rock concerts, that they’d normally have gone back to their tent with. In this rather anodyne setting, with numbers limited, perhaps we’ll be spared the usual litany of stabbings and assaults?
I assume you have to enter a reg plate to buy tickets? wouldn’t it be nice if they linked to DVLA and said beep! not insured, no MOT. As we get further into an era of ID checks, wouldn’t it be nice if if you’ve got more than, oh I don’t know 6 penalty points, the machine went beep!…
