    (Looks like Coronation Road in Bedminster is going to get a lot busier now that Cumberland Road is closed)

    I had noticed this story before.  They were obviously reticent about spending so much to fix “just” a cycle.pedestrian route.  Bet thet were wishing they had spent the lower amount of money now instead of the larger amount it will now cost to repair it all, especially with the huge amount of disruption not being able to use any of the road.
