Zwift Heart Rate Query

    I have a Tacx Neo trainer  linked to Apple TV. I have a Garmin Edge 500 which I dont use on the turbo, but i also have the Garmin HRM.

    How do I link the Garmin HRM to zwift? Do I need some kind of bridge or something?

    Short answer is ‘you can’t so

    Short answer is ‘you can’t so buy a Bluetooth HRM’

    AppleTV is not compatible with ANT+ which Garmin use as a comms protocol.  It uses Bluetooth  Low Energy instead.  Fortunately Bluetooth HRMs are cheap or alternatively get one which does both flavours such as a Wahoo Tickr.  I run An Elite Direto with Apple TV and a cheapo BLE HRM and it works fine.

    The ANT+ dongle you posted won’t work with your Apple TV. 4iiii make a ‘bridge’ which is also a HRM but unless you intend using other ANT+ devices (and given you’re using a Neo I’m not sure what those would be) then a generic BLE compatible HRM will be cheaper.
