Montevideo, Uruguay Road Bike Rental

Am off to Montevideo in Uruguay next week for a work trip but schedule means I am going to have plenty of spare time. Was wondering if any one knows of somewhere to rent a decent road bike in the city so I can go out for a spin. Think there are plenty of options for commuter bike rental but so far have not found anything more dedicated to clock up a few miles. Would appreceiate any help or advice. Thanks.

Can’t offer you any advice on bike rentals I’m afraid, but don’t, under any circumstances, no matter how many locals urge you to, go to a restaurant for a “parilla”.

Unless you really, really LOVE offal.
