Yes but only because there was a witness who cared and stood her ground, otherwise he’d never had been charged. Horrible case. The driver is a menace and a liar. Hopefully he’ll go to prison….lose his licence for good….car crushed. Meanwhile, back in the real world, probably a mild “don’t do it again”, 3 points, a voucher to help fix the dent in his car’s bumper and a nice fruit cake.
