I’m riding from Calais to Dusseldorf (for a stag do) but need to go fast (I have a day and a half). Does anyone have any recommended routes? The automatic Strava plots include a lot of canal paths, which appear to be well-tarmacced. Anyone ridden on these and can confirm they’ll be ok for a 200-mile day?
