I got a Restrap saddle bag when the weather was silly hot so I didn’t have to wear a rucksack on my commute.

Absolutely love it, but now the nights are about to draw in I’m trying to figure out how to mount lights.

I’ve got one of those (expensive, overrated) SeeSense rear lights attached to the top loop at the moment but it points almost straight down, even when the straps are pulled pretty tight.

    Anyone got any recommendations/good experience?

    thanks

    M

I had similar issues when attaching it occasionally to my ortlieb saddle bag but just had to make sure not to over pack it and roll it up really tight so the light doesn’t face down too much.

I’ve had the first edition see.sense rear light since beginning of 2015 and use it for most of my rides, even in the summer.  £1.90 per month of usage isn’t expensive, even if it stops working now.  It lights up the whole freakin road surface around you (at night) without dazzling other people. Also for only £67 I’ve managed to get 3 of their new versions (2 rear 1 front), I’d say thats a bargain!

    I like my seesense. You
I like my seesense. You probably can’t appreciate it unless you are behind it and watching the light change.

It’s also so bright that you don’t need it straight on. It would work on a seat stay for example.

Rather than fitting your SeeSense light to the seat pin is it possible to fit it to the seat tube?
