Changing Stickers

I can't get the stickers for my recently acquired road bike anywhere. Have been googling and emailing around following leads given on here but nobody has them. Is it acceptable to put any peugeot stickers I like the look of on my bike or do you really need to stick to the ones for that model? I know I can do what I want really but don't want to do something if it's stupid :/
