I get great shifting with my RS685’s with 105.  Went a bit off the other day after riding the bike for a couple of years, but a few moments tweeking and back running sweet.

The shifting itself is slick and I haven’t had any issues, but the feel of the lever when shifting is so dull compared with the R8000, or even 105 rim brake shifting, where there’s very little throw and a very positive click.

Mabye, but I can’t say that I’ve noticed that much differnece with the rim brake 105 that I have on my other bike.  Anyway, it isn’t like I don’t welcome improvements, just happy with how mine is working.
