Ultegra pedals or r540 pedals?

    Which pedals ? Are ultegra pedals worth 4x the price of r540 s? They certainly look better. I’m just too stingy to see how I can justify buying them even though I really want them. Are ultegra s gripper in the wet than the sometimes slippery r540?

    I had the R540’s as an introduction to clipless whuch were fine but the R550’s are way better.

    Only difference I can see between them & the 105’s are they are slightly heavier.
