Vuelta stage 3

    Well a hard one to pick, stage could play out  a number of ways. I have gone reasonably conservative but thrown in Pardilla and Hermans as outsiders. Hermans will probably be on team duty for Sanchez and this may be too steep for him, but was very strong in Vuelta a Burgos so thought it was worth a shot.

    not too bad, 3,4,5,10,15,20. Was initially thinking Anton instead of Hermans but of course went with Hermans…but don’t we all have story like that!

    Bad luck for Lopez.

    Bad luck for Lopez. Kruijswijk not looking great at this point either. I could still see Contador ride into better form, but if Froome doesn’t fade late, it’ll probably be too late.

    I had similar picks for stage 3 today, triccky:

    Valverde

    Froome

    Quintana

    Sammy Sanchez

    S Yates

    Hermans

    Pardilla

    with a couple sprinters leftover (Meersman and Cort).

    So me and you have 6 the same.

    The ones that differ are kennaugh, hermans and brambilla, where i have Mendes, Moreno and Gilbert
