SRAM eTap Compatibility (again)

I’m asking this again in the hope that now eTap has been around for a while there might be more people out there with actual experience of running the front derailleaur with ‘other’ chainsets. The impression I got last time was that SRAM Red 11 speed chainring spacing is greater than Campy/Shimano, which could theoretically impact front changes if used with other brand chainsets. I’ve since read some posts elsewhere implying that in practice it’s fine. I run a Campy 11 speed compact Record chainset 2015. I know a lot of people have an opinion on this, but I’m most interested in hearing from anyone with real world experience. Thanks for help.
