Gran Caneria in October?

we have booked a family holiday to Gran Caneria again this year but in October when it's still pretty hot. I've been given permission for a couple of days riding so I'm looking for some opinions on the weather at that time. we rode for 5 days last year but in May and it did get pretty hot averaging 23-24c but I did see a max on one of the climbs of 33c. If anyone has ridden that time of year i,d like to hear you opinion?
