How is "Form" calculated?

Hi, am totally confused as to what the "form" stat is measuring. ie, look at the below riders... Bennati has scored points in 3 of his last 4 stages, all earlier this month yet his form is 0. Machado last scored points on 11/09/15, and is scoreless in has last 9 stages and yet his form is 12.20 ???? Its not just these 2 riders with form values that dont make sense. There are loads of other examples if you look for them.

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago and assumed it was a one off anomaly. However, the errors are still there. Must be pretty confusing for newbies as the pop-up graphs appear to be correct. I assume there is a problem with one of the spreadsheets but hope that it can be fixed before the next competition starts.
