Word to the wise if you every deal with Garmin. If you make a complaint about a member of staff don’t be surprised if they start stalking you on the Internet. Had cause to complain about Gosia Dyczkowska, the Customer Care Team Manager at Garmin Europe, and then found that she started visiting my public profiles on web sites. Found this a very disturbing and alarming behaviour. She’s probably not a nutter, but you never know.

    Perhaps they wouldn’t need

Perhaps they wouldn’t need employees stalking customers if they sold equipment that actually worked. Virb XE returned 3x, waiting on a 4th actually working one. I haven’t recorded more than a minute worth of action and I’ve owned it for 7 weeks, of which I’ve actually had one in my possession for 3 days. Ridiculous.

    I’d suspect it’s a rogue

I’d suspect it’s a rogue employee rather than something systemic? Something else to add to the complaint perhaps?

I suppose it would be better if their complaints procedure didn’t reveal the identity of the customer to the person being complained about.

However, on the other hand, personally I don’t think I’d post the name of the employee online. Once it’s out there you can’t really take it back easily.
