Had a ‘mazin time with the road.cc crew at Brands Hatch at the weekend, thanks to all ! Got me thinking about where when to meet up again and I remembered about my local charity sportive, The Rawlinson Bracket.

The route is annually slightly tweaked but will never by much – there’s a nice story about the ride in the ‘about’ page in their site.

It’s become an annual staple in the past few years for most local clubs, it’ll take place on 28th February and the 1st sportive of the year (certainly the first around the Midlands).
It’s a little bit different as hardly anyone has form at that time of year, so it’s a cold hard slog around some of the more testing climbs Warwickshire and North Cotswolds has to offer and around the stomping grounds of the local hill climb and TT legends.

Come snow, rain or shine everyone goes for it.

Any road.cc members interested, could be a nice early test and would be good to see some club jerseys about?
