Why is that programmes like these always contain cycling injuries and not that many car ones when they would be far greater in numbers.

should we see them showing more of us as a positive (as of course they tend to be London hospitals) or a negative ?

It’s because if you manage to
It’s because if you manage to injure yourself in a car, with crumple zones and seat belts and airbags, the likelihood is that you have been involved in a high speed, high energy, high deceleration incident and wouldn’t be spending that much time in A&E; you would be heading for theatre or ITU quite quickly.

You have to try pretty hard to come to grief in a car crash these days; hence the attitude of many drivers; we’ve made driving safe and have shifted the injury/death onto pedestrians and cyclists…

It has becoming a running in
It has becoming a running in joke with the Mrs, she likes these kind of A&E porn shows and it is like, yet another cyclist, I will be OK !

If the same proportion was shown with car accidents …

    Its difficult to call really.
Its difficult to call really. More publicty would generally mean a good thing but it can be turned on its head and be put along the lines of they shouldn’t use the roads.

I see enough death and destruction at work so i generally dont watch those sort of programmes.
