Wiggins’ hour record attempt: how long?

    I quite fancy watching the Wiggins hour attempt if I can get Sky sports sorted out, but there are things I need to get done that day. Does anyone know roughly how long it will take? I know Dowset did it in pretty much 60 minutes bang on, but Wiggo will surely be quicker, won’t he?

    There could be severe doppler
    There could be severe doppler effect as he approaches then recedes from you. If he looks blue or red in the face it is not the exertion it is just how fast he is moving. Where are you exactly in Space/Time? You are probably at least 0.001 light seconds from him. Please factor this in.

    Why not watch on Pick
    Why not watch on Pick (Channel 11 FreeView) which will be broadcasting the SkySports 2 pictures?

    Being on Sky of course they’ll spin it out to about 2 hours I’d imagine.
