Hi – Im going to be changing my frame so will have my current one that I hope to sell but Ive no idea what to ask for it.

2005 Trek Pilot 2.1 with Carbon fork, headset/stem, and carbon seatpost
Id say its in decent condition with only superficial scuffs and scrapes but no damage/repairs.

Any suggestions of value would be greatly welcomed.

Some people say 10% off per
Some people say 10% off per year and 1/2 price after just buying new.

Sorry I have no idea on your frameset value and I’m the type to offer bottom price so I won’t type anything here to offend anyone lol

Personally I sold my complete bike, a 2006 Trek 1200 for £300 after finding other adverts around my asking price, assessing my own bike condition e.g. Still looked mint, rode awesomely, some part upgrades and a free set of pedals.

I could have asked for more or less but also I valued the bike to me. I wasn’t prepared to sell it for less.

Your bike is similar but just the frameset (frame+fork).

Also look at similar aluminium frames that you can buy new and the demand.
