    Opinions please. I’m doing a sportive. Not worried about rolling resistance so just want to get round without any hassles! So please rate the following four tyres in order of puncture resistance!! 1. Conti Gp4000s
    2. Schwalbe lugano
    3. Schwalbe ones
    4. Michelin pro 4 (wets)

    These are what I currently have, I’m not interested in what is better than these!!! Cheers!!!

    I use lugano’s for training,
    <:P I use lugano’s for training, the rigid ones, 8 quid each, as puncture proof as any road tyre.

    They are soft and don’t last long though, but at the price, replace early.

    1 or 2 punctures per year at the most.

    Survived a wet etape caledonia with no punctures on a day when a good 10% must have punctured.

    A mate punctured 2 gp4000 on the same route as me last month, I’m not sure they are any better despite the money.

    Don’t waste money on schwalbe tubes though, I’ve found them poor value and just use cheap ones.

    Conti GP 4000S 2’s. Bought a
    Conti GP 4000S 2’s. Bought a second pair for my other bike.

    Lugano are hung up on my wall after trying them once, as they came with my CAAD10.

    Spesh do a race tyre but not so puncture proof.

    Frankly, the GP 4000s IIs are fantastic. I haven’t punctured in over 2000 miles now, which is a huge distance for me (usually very puncture prone).

    If your GP4000s are anything
    If your GP4000s are anything like my GP4000sII’s then use them, I have never punctured mine

    Thanks! Thats so what I wanted to hear as those are the ones that I have in the wheelset that I wanted to use!! So no hassle for me changing cassettes/tyres in that case!! đŸ˜‰

    FWIW I’ve done over 2000
    FWIW I’ve done over 2000 miles on a pair of Pro 4 SC tyres without any punctures.

    I am now guaranteed to get 16 punctures on tomorrow’s big ride…

    Schwalbe Durano Schwalbe marathon plus the latter is virtually bomb proof.

    I can heartily recommend the Schwalbe Ones, I’ve been running the same pair since October so they have been through a full winters use and are still perfect. There are a few cuts but zero punctures and great grip and suppleness.

    Have spare pair but can see them lasting through the summer.
