Worth a pop? 2nd hand Specialized Allez

    Have been looking to upgrade from my 2006 Claud Buttler Strada 12k for a little while now and this bike has caught my eye on gumtree.

    I have two main questions..

    1. Is it worth the money? As I have had a quick search on ebay and seen a fair few on there for cheaper – granted, none with the 105 components.

    2. Actually, how much of an upgrade is it from my current bike?

    Yeah it is a carbon frame. I did a little bit of ebay hunting after i posted this and decided to just blow my budget out of the water and buy a 2014 Giant Propel. Picked it up yesterday and feeling pretty happy about it.

    Isn’t the Claud Butler a carbon frame? The Specialized is apparently not. It’s hard to imagine this would be much of an upgrade for you.
