Caratti sport & Merlin wear elite bibshort advice

Hi I am looking to upgrade my shorts for some new bib shorts as my rides are getting longer & shorts getting uncomfortable after 2 1/2 hour mark. Not wanting to splash out £80.00 plus so been looking through reviews etc & came across the caratti sport bib shorts for £40.00 which I really like the look of & think it was cycling weekly gave them a 9out of 10. Also Merlin cycles have launched their own Merlin wear range which the elite bib shorts sound a good buy for £45.00 with a good pad. But these have only been launched recently. So has anyone tried either of these bib shorts. Would be good to hear your comments. Thanks B-)
