    So then, now that Porte has the lead can he keep it today or will the rest try and get the bonus seconds at the end.

    With a Cat 1 some distance from the end i dont think it will affect the stage but the final Cat 3 is just 40k from the finish will that be the point when the likes of Valverde put the hammer down, try and get a gap going over the top and push it to the end. Yes its 40k to the end but he can descend very well or will they bide their time for tomorrows final stage ????

    So many guys who might have gone into breakaway on Stage 7 went on Stage 6. Wonder who will still have any energy to climb Montjuic eight times in a small group tomorrow.
