Update on first bike

Just wanted to say thanks to all who replied to my original post about which bike to choose for my first road bike. I ended up with the Giant Defy 0. I have only managed three rides but did 24, 18 then 42 mile trips. Could not be more happy with the bike, comfortable, fast enough. (Did manage 43mph!) wife not too happy tho! Lol. Brilliant all round bike for any MAMIL like myself :)) looking forward to spring and going exploring further afield B-)
